1. Distinguish Aberdeen City from Aberdeenshire

The starting area is Aberdeen City, so do not submit it again. Type Aber and select Aberdeenshire from the suggestions, then press Guess. Selecting a suggestion fills the input; submitting it records the guess.

Typing Aber in Travle GBR offers Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City as separate suggestions; the start is already Aberdeen City.
Type part of a name, choose the intended area, then submit it. DLEWiki capture · Official Travle · English interface · 2 October 2026 Open official source ↗

Partial typing is useful for finding the right label. This test shows that Aber brings up suggestions; it does not establish that submitting any abbreviation will be accepted.

2. Continue through Angus

After Aberdeenshire, enter Angus and press Guess. The connected route is:

Aberdeen City → Aberdeenshire → Angus → Dundee City.

Only the two middle areas are guesses. The endpoints are already supplied.

3. Check the result, not just the map colour

Travle Practice confirms Aberdeen City to Dundee City in two guesses, matching the shortest solution of two.
Verified result: Aberdeenshire and Angus complete the GBR route in two guesses. DLEWiki capture · Official Travle · English interface · 2 October 2026 Open official source ↗

The official result reports 2 guesses, with a shortest solution of 2 guesses. Both accepted guesses show ✅. This proves the displayed route works in our tested configuration; it does not make every Scottish route a two-guess puzzle.
