Why Does Travle Say “Unknown County Name: Scotland”?
On the Great Britain map, enter a local area such as Aberdeenshire or Angus. Scotland is not a county answer; the World and Great Britain maps expect different kinds of names.

The exact error we reproduced

On 2 October 2026, we entered Scotland in official Great Britain Practice and received Unknown county name: Scotland. The endpoints were Aberdeen City and Dundee City. The game wanted the local areas between them, not the country containing both places.
The input can still use the generic “country, territory” placeholder. Look at the selected map and hint labels: the GBR interface offers county outlines and county initials.
Select a name the current map recognizes
Type Aber and choose Aberdeenshire from the suggestions. Selecting the suggestion fills the field; press Guess to submit it.

Do not select Aberdeen City for this puzzle: it is the given start. The required first intermediate area is Aberdeenshire. Partial typing helps you find the accepted full label; this test does not establish that arbitrary abbreviations are accepted.
Check that the correction worked
With Aberdeenshire, then Angus, our attempt finished in 2 guesses, matching a shortest solution of 2. See the completed Aberdeen-to-Dundee route.
If the error persists, check the selected map before trying different spellings. If you intended a country-level puzzle, open the World map; if you intended GBR, use its county/local-area suggestions. An accepted name that stays gray needs a missing connection, not another spelling.
