How to start a Travle game
- Open the official game and read the two endpoints and any extra condition.
- Name an intermediate country using the game's suggestions. Do not enter the supplied start or end.
- Connect the chain. Compare the map with the guess history; an accepted country may still be disconnected.
- Aim for fewer guesses. Read the actual completion result and the minimum for your puzzle.

This example was played in English World Practice on 2 October 2026: Ireland → United Kingdom → France → Germany, with two intermediate guesses. Repeat the setup or understand each connection.
Choose the map and task
- World connections and feedback: rules and troubleshooting.
- Outlines or unfamiliar names: hints with gameplay frames.
- A longer route than expected: strategy and detour comparison.
- Regional geography: Great Britain, USA or map directory.
- Special weekly conditions: Weekly Challenge. Read the current condition before reusing a World route.
What our evidence labels mean
Play-tested means we operated that particular route or feature ourselves. Footage reviewed means we checked a player's recorded video. The case states its date and mode; neither label promises that the example is today's answer or that every map follows the same rule.
Screenshots show the useful steps and results so you can use a guide without watching the whole source video. DLEWiki is an independent guide site; use the official site to play the actual puzzles.
About the game
Travle was created by Oisín Carroll and is published by Teuteuf Games. People also search for it as the “travel earth game” or “country-to-country game”. Country distance is not the score: count the intermediate places the route requires.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I play more Travle?
Open official Practice for configurable routes and repeat attempts, or the official archive for dated daily puzzles. Access conditions may differ; our guides explain the entry points.
Why is a correct country gray?
It may not yet connect back to your start. Fill the missing link rather than guessing the same country again. Our Ireland-to-Germany example shows France waiting for the United Kingdom connection.
