We used no hints. The initial allowance was 14 guesses. A country merely having a coastline is not enough to explain a proposed shortcut: the journey must continue along the coast specified by the puzzle.

The complete input sequence

Guess Country or region Progress
1 Senegal Connects out of The Gambia
2 Mauritania Continues north along the Atlantic
3 Western Sahara Fills the coast before Morocco
4 Morocco Continues around northwest Africa
5 Algeria Begins the eastward Mediterranean section
6 Tunisia Continues the Mediterranean coastline
7 Libya Connects onward toward Egypt
8 Egypt Completes the route to Palestine

All eight entries received ✅. The Gambia and Palestine are already supplied, so neither is a guess.

Do not skip Western Sahara

The Travle Coast route has accepted Senegal, Mauritania, Western Sahara and Morocco in order.

The tested coastal sequence is Mauritania → Western Sahara → Morocco. Do not substitute a shortcut based on a simplified political map. The gameplay above establishes this segment for this Coast puzzle; a general World-route rule alone would not have been enough evidence.

Why Egypt finishes the route

The game completed immediately after Egypt. We did not enter Israel. The supplied Palestine endpoint is reachable along this coastal route; the complete result is stronger evidence than assuming which country must come next from the country names alone.

The displayed path follows the coast into the Palestinian coastal area. This does not establish a jump between Gaza and the West Bank, or make Israel unnecessary for every puzzle involving Palestine. Endpoint areas and the mode's condition matter.

Check the result against the shortest answer

Travle Coast reports eight guesses, Perfect, and lists The Gambia, Senegal, Mauritania, Western Sahara, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt and Palestine.
8 guesses (Perfect). Egypt completes the route to the supplied Palestine endpoint. DLEWiki play-test · Official Travle · English interface · 2 October 2026 Open official game ↗

The official panel says 8 guesses (Perfect) and reveals the same eight-country chain. This is a completed DLEWiki play-test, not a prediction, a generic World simulation or an unverified route taken from a comment.

Solve a different Coast puzzle

Read any additional direction condition first. Trace the coast from the supplied start, record each region crossed, then enter the chain in order. If you cannot identify the next region, use the next-outline hint rather than guessing a distant coastal country at random. Compare the final shortest-route panel with your attempt.

Some archived weekly puzzles also say keep the sea to my left. That is an additional condition, not a rule to silently assume for every Coast game. Old reports of broken counters do not establish that the current puzzle is broken: this attempt loaded a numeric allowance and completed successfully.
