The exact English error
In our Ireland → Germany World Practice test on 2 October 2026, submitting Ireland produced Can't guess start or end countries: Ireland. The counter stayed at Guess (1/?); the rejected endpoint did not become a guess.
Replace the endpoint with the first intermediate country
For this Normal, unrestricted route, enter United Kingdom, then France. Ireland and Germany remain the given endpoints:
Ireland → United Kingdom → France → Germany.
Only the two bold countries count as guesses. Our separate completed replay reported two guesses and a two-guess minimum. Repeat the full setup.
Check the message before changing the spelling
This error is not asking for another spelling of Ireland. It means the game recognizes the name but the puzzle already provides that region. If you instead see “Unknown county name,” check the selected map and suggested local-area labels. If you see “Country already guessed,” inspect your existing history.
