How Does Ireland Connect to the UK in Travle?
Ireland connects to the United Kingdom through Northern Ireland. Travle then allows the connection between Northern Ireland and the UK mainland, so Ireland is not stranded by the sea.

The two links behind the answer
The first step uses the land border between Ireland and Northern Ireland, which belongs to the game's United Kingdom region. The second is the official within-country island-hop allowance connecting Northern Ireland to the UK mainland.
This does not imply that any two countries separated by water connect. Travle distinguishes a shared border, an allowed connection between parts of one country, and a fixed bridge or tunnel.
A route you can repeat
In English World Practice, set Ireland → Germany, Normal mode, Unlimited Guesses and no exclusions. Enter United Kingdom, then France.

We completed this chain on 2 October 2026 in two guesses, matching the minimum:
Ireland → United Kingdom → France → Germany.
The UK entry joins Ireland; the next international link to France is the Channel Tunnel. These are separate rule steps. The endpoints are supplied, so do not guess Ireland or Germany.
If the UK does not fix your route
Check that you are on the World map and that the puzzle does not exclude the UK or add another special condition. The Great Britain county map uses different regions. If you have entered France first, it can remain gray until you add the UK; this is the tested gray-country example.
